Hello I’m Phil. Thanks for visiting my website.

I have always liked words. When I was young I remember watching a game show – it might have been Countdown or something similar – and the best part was when contestants used really long words like disestablishmentarianism. It was even better if I already knew what the word meant. Anyway, apart from being a smart ass this also shows that I’ve always liked words.

These days, I ply my trade writing words professionally (or at least vaguely coherently) and spinning helping the media as a PR for a local council. I am a bit of a geek and like pretty much anything that fits in with that stereotype, so we’re talking science fiction, technology, web stuff, social media and anything shiny especially if it has got an Apple logo attached.

Anyway, this is where I write about stuff that is inside my head which means it could be quite diverse, although more often than not its likely to be a collection of inconsequential mumblings. That’s the joy of the internet though, you never know what you’re going to get.
